Vespa Pizzeria - Charleston

I called ahead for 2 dinners. I had spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna. Not really impressed with the flavors. Sorta bland. For the price, I expected much better. Full bar. Outdoor seating. The atmosphere is fun. The staff is great! You can see into the kitchen and watch them cook. Would be a cute place to take some pictures.

Lasagna had no taste with chewy pasta(like it had be soaking in water). Pizza awful, minimal cheese and pepperoni but overwhelmed by amount of arugula…(never saw a pizza like that before) Mozzarella sticks were frozen and definitely not home made. I also got a side Caesar salad that was limp and looked like it had been made days previous. Have lived on DI for 2 years and finally tried Vespa,,,,will definitely be at least 2 more years b/4 even contemplating the thought of going. Was hoping fo … – show

I really like their food, weekly off menu items, pizza, paste, salad, calzone, etc keeps it an ever changing menu. also has nice outdoor setting. staff is friendly and helpful.

The restaurant had tons of pizzas available after a concert at Credit One Stadium. It was very convenient delicious!
