The Gathering Cafe - Charleston

This place is incredible, shockingly so. I have never had a bad meal here and I won’t even admit how many times I’ve actually eaten their food (it’s a lot).. all the ingredients are always fresh, especially the salmon. Capers on avocado toast? Genius. We’re so lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood, please never ever shut down we literally need you.

So I am a bit of a foodie and this place is a slice of heaven!! I got the Buddha Bowl, roasted beets, brussel sprouts and BrOwNiE!! What a delight The service is awesome and the place is so quaint!

I really wanted to like this place because it’s right in our neighborhood. Ordered a Cobb salad, got it home and there was no Turkey. They made the wrong salad so I called back, she said the online menu was different than the one they have in store. Went back, and they refused to make a piece of chicken because they were closing in 40 minutes. The menu in the restaurant says Turkey on the Cobb salad also — no fix, no refund — won’t be back

Excellent vegan Caesar salad with tofu. My husband had the veggie wrap with a side of veggie chili…yummy! Great service! Eclectic atmosphere!

They have tons of gluten free options. I was craving a salad so I got the Greek and added chicken. It was absolutely delicious. It was a nice sized portion even as to go and I ate every bite! I also got one of their gluten free brownies and I can’t lie it was one of the best gluten free brownies I’ve ever tasted. I will definitely be visiting again.
