I have noticed this restaurant for years, but my husband is not a fan of Indian cuisine so we never went. However, this weekend I decided to treat myself to a meal there, and I was pleasantly surprised. View all feedback.
What Victor M doesn't like about Bombay Bazar:
I will begin with the positives - the food was delicious and I would definitely return for the flavors. The service was good, although it did take some time to receive our order, which was understandable due to the busy restaurant. View all feedback.
The food was amazing. The ingredients are fresh, authentic spices, and delicious. The portions are shareable. Vegetarian and Vegan options. The Vegetable Biryani is flavorful and savory. Will visit often. They also have a store section that sells spices, grains, and fresh produce.
Food is great and reasonably priced. I've never been disappointed with my meal. Great Indian food. I choose mild spiced, but you can get it to your own taste if you prefer it hotter.
Eating was good, but the restaurant is not attractive at all. dark dingy and no good mood overall. the personal was extremely unstoppable. I forgot that my drink brought a wrong start and we waited for a half hour for our escape. the restaurant was not busy. I had to ask for our food and finally 7 minutes later it came. I think they forgot us. never asked if we needed anything other than a drink. they calculated me $2.57 for a credit card fee when I paid in cash. taste of india was much better and I would recommend they go there vs this place.
I wanted to try Indian food for a long time, so my friend and I decided to pick up from here last night. my friend has hühnertiki marsala and I have the butter chicken. we also have two veggie samosas. a word: flavor. everything was full of taste. so happy to have rest because I wasn't ready to be away! definitely will be back for more!
We decided to start rating sites that cost more than $10 per person. if it is $10 or less per person, then it is a risk to try a new place, but the more expensive the place the higher the investment and the risk increases. we give this place a 3 stars. it was okay, but we probably won't return. the butter chicken was good, but a small part. the vindaloo huh was spicy but bland taste. the samosas were good.
