we had dinner in this restaurant a little less than two years ago and the experience had been mixed. This time we had lunch in the patio and the experience was much more convincing. The staff is actually adorable and in small care (eye to nicolas;) on the plate: nice presentation, quality products. glass wine (santenay:) perfect for a reasonable price. The last time we found the service too long, this time it was mor... View all feedback.
What Matthieu Tessier doesn't like about Le Jardin d'Hiver:
I had dinner here because the hotel's starred restaurant (which I've never had occasion to try) was closed that evening. The food was OK but very simple, rather boring. The Corsican sommelier came up with a fantastic Corsican dessert wine to accompany the foie gras...appetizer; on the other hand, a junior server completely misunderstood me and served a regular red wine with the dessert--unthinkable and undrinkable. Advised by friends, we tested the menu at 35 € including mouth amuse, entry, dish, dessert. this menu is balanced, varies every week, is available noon and evening in week and offers a quality ratio unbeatable in a very pleasant place. special mention for the dish that was this week a roast tuna with zucchini and apricots, delicious. We were able to choose the desserts from the selection of the map, real desserts to pastry. the only small critic concerns bread, not exceptional. The service is a little slow but charming and attentive. By chance, the evening was beautiful and we were able to dine on the terrace. It is spacious and very pleasant, the tables are far from each other, and this makes it an excellent address in peace for lunches and beautiful summer evenings. If the menu at 35€ does not tempt you, you can choose the menu at 49€ (price flat)Beautiful discovery, we will return
Very good address .r merely call to the hotel master that he must sharpen his meat knives (thiers) whose edge is not at the height of the table .
We stayed at the hotel and had lunch - confirmation that the staff is really in the care with the customers! lunch in the patio, with - oh luck! - a beautifully sunny weather. only happiness. daurade for me and bath for my husband - both of very good quality, tasteful, well worked. nice cheese plate to share. Good luck. What more?
It was twice, first. for aperitif, second time for dinner: a 5* restaurant with personal but professional service! we have been really choyed, excellent and refined
We decided to have lunch in this loving restaurant at the inn of the Paume game (5.*) of the phone call to book the note payment, the reception of the staff was at the top, listening and small care. So we have lunched in the patio, simply a small place of paradise;) we are quiet, not crowded on each other, which allows to fully enjoy and spend an excellent time outdoors away from the eyes! concerning the dishes in themselves, nothing has been excellent: simple dishes with very well cooked and prepared quality products. I recommend lamb trilogy: a delight. report quality correct price, on Sunday noon the menu of the week is not available, if flat entry dessert count 49€. we opted for the entrance for a plate to be shared (charcuterie, tarama, or even sardines to choose) with then dish and dessert, accompanied by an aperitif and a glass of wine: 52€ per person so more than reasonable for an address like this address to remember
