After checking out two other Jay restaurants in the city, this seems where it is. on the side of a lively street this ice cream is popular. there are a few small tables with sitting places inside and this place is also a shop with vegan snacks, drinks and other ingredients that they can pick up. the place has developed some of the old reviews here, but the shaded look is not without its charm and is kept clean and well maintained. eating is buffet style with a fair variety of the usual Thai dishes and some mock dishes. no English spoken, the personal is really nice. as typical of this style, eating is often over boiled and or oily, but there are health-conscious options. there was a delicious fermented tofu and nudel soup and a very tasty curry that was worth the visit just to try the suppe. the fake meats are also really delicious. happy to recommend if they like this style of kitchen or are just looking for a fast and cheap Thai meal. in the rule they rate this type of experience 2 stars, but some of the dishes here are about par and with the shop the experience feels like more.

Good if you like fake meat. only a few dishes without it. was not great, but was not terrible.

From the city center khwang coming rd go in about on the right after the first corner, between 2nd and 3rd soi open 6-16u tasteful! pretty good!

I ate here 5 days in a row and is my go to place for cooked vegan food in Chanthaburi. The food is authentic Thai food but also uses soy bean products to replace meat, creating a more diverse variety of flavours and textures, outside the typical thai cuisine. The place is small but never overcrowding. Meow is friendly and keen to learn english from any foreigners. I became a semi regular so she asked her lovely next door neighbour to help with translation. Though Meows english is minimal she is willing to help with any information and advice on the local area.
