Incredibly delicious food in a tavern on the way to Aptera. Picturesque corner almost in the middle of nowhere. Original Greek specialties that are super well seasoned. We were deeply impressed. Vegetarian options: Most of the starters were vegetarian. Filled pastries, fried and gratinated cheeses, grilled vegetables, etc. Kid-friendliness: Some of the host family's children were running around in and outside the restaurant. Truly memorable authentic Greek countryside lunch! We wanted to escape the crowds and enjoy the countryside, and with a bit of research chose this restaurant absolutely a hidden gem! Nice charming rustic restaurant with a view, chilled relaxed vibes and the food feels like great home cooking was truly outstanding. We had beef stifado, peas with artichoke, sausages and gemista (tomatoes with stuffed rice and herbs). The gemista truly blew me away just have to come back for more at some stage! Magnificent view with a great and traditional atmosphere! eating is very tasty and traditional. we tried almost every category. from starters to fishing, meat and dessert. every dish was very delicious. my biggest recommendation is the starter (roasted pfeffer filled with feta and garlic)

Beautiful friendly tavern. excellent food, service value. delicious seaweed (10 euro) and bark meat stifado (8,50 euro) will return.
