This restaurant is a fantastic place to dine. The service was exceptional and they offer a nice variety of seafood options, which is impressive considering we are in the middle of the Sonoran desert. We enjoyed dishes such as shrimp, cod, sea bass, and the tasty sushi, although the sushi menu is a bit limited. Overall, the experience was great. What User doesn't like about Smokin Fins:
The food I ordered, two plates of sushi, was just okay. In my opinion, the flavor could have used a little more kick. My friend's dish, however, was good. It was quite empty on a Saturday night, with only 2 to 3 other tables occupied during the hour and a half we were there. The bathroom was clean. The service, on the other hand, was excellent. This food is insanely good! The veggies from here are the best I've ever had by a long shot.Well with the extra couple bucks I'd normally spend on food. Any time I'm on this side of town I'll be back for more.Food: 5/5
The pork pot stickers and Mango roll were good appetizers. I enjoyed the Seared, Sesame-Crusted Ahi, sauteed spinach, red pepper, jicama, carrots, mushrooms, ginger, cabbage and edamame, on a fried rice puff with cucumber-red pepper relish.Food: 4/5
Food was delicious and not on the crazy pricey side. We chose to try this spot out on a whim and I’m glad we did.
The food I had was delicious. I had no complaints about any of the flavors. The staff was short-staffed, and understandably, the waiter was overwhelmed. Despite being overwhelmed, Antonio was attentive and made up for his mistakes. The manager Kaite was accommodating as well. I will definitely be visiting again.Kid-friendliness: The kid's menu has the typical meals, but the presentation and flavor make it clear that they don't want the kids to miss out on flavor as well.
