Club Alpina - Champagny-en-Vanoise

Depuis la station de La Plagne, l'accès au restaurant se fait par le télécabine Champagny. À l'écart de la foule, ce restaurant italien vaut vraiment le détour : de véritables plats italiens, comme des pâtes aux fruits de mer très copieusement garnies avec une sauce relevée comme il faut, ou des pizzas succulentes élaborées par un véritable chef italien. Les desserts sont excellents. L'accueil est parfait. De la patronne aux serveuses, tout le monde est aux petits soins. Si vous voulez passer un bon moment, n'hésitez pas.

Nous avons visité ce restaurant deux fois lors de notre séjour. Les cocktails sont bien préparés et délicieux. Les plats sont excellents et la charcuterie est de qualité.

We went for dinner on a Thursday. Plenty of families with children but it wasn’t noisy or disturbing. We had chicken with sauce and tagliatelle and a special burger with Cantal cheese and duck. The food is not particularly sophisticated but is well executed, tasty and copious. We didn’t order starters and We didn’t have room for dessert though the “cafe gourmand” looked very appealing! Just a couple of points for improvement: the fries are precooked frozen and not better than in any burger chain ... something to be changed? Also dishes, glasses and in general the table arrangements should be improved. They’re ok for a cheap eat but the restaurant merits better. The service is fast and correct. We also had a half bottle of wine, not cheap but worth the 20€. All in all satisfying.

Two dinners in a week and nothing to say. An alpine fondue fell. burgers with savoyard cheese. I'm not saying anything. If, I forget, the digestive crane, a real moment of happiness. Thanks for your welcome and next year.
