We stopped in Alencon on our way down to Bordeaux. The restaurant is popular with locals which is a good sign. Very friendly and welcoming to tourists. Great food. Pizza, pasta and good beer. Family of four with Pizzas around and a few drinks was 50 Euros. Walking distance from the Campanile hotel. View all feedback.
We were staying at the Formula 1 hotel just down the street and came here for dinner. There were very limited options in this industrial area so this was very much a surprise. Sitting on the terrace with our dog, we were made to feel very very welcome, even though we didn't speak very good French or the staff English. We all managed! A big thank you to the staff who were all brilliant. We both had pizzas which were superb and other patrons had HUGE salads so ether looked like a great choice. Our pizzas were delicious and big also and certainly didn't disappoint. Actually, all the food that came out looked great and were large portion sizes.A 1/2 litre carafe of white wine and 2 pizzas for €32. The staff were very attentive but left us to ourselves on a busy night and we had a very pleasant hour or so here rather than stay in our hotel room. If staying at the F1 Hotel down the road, I'd highly recommend this pizzeria for dinner which opens for dinner at 7pm.
Pet friendly and a warm welcome. All rooms en suite and for those of you who remember Meg Richardson, it reminded me of Crossroads! Restaurant on site was reasonably priced with pleasant food. A good stopover on the way down through France.

We arrived at 9:30 on a Monday evening, and the restaurant was almost full. We were seated straight away and service throughout was first class. The design is a bit strange, but the seating was comfortable, well lit and welcoming. The food was outstanding. I had a cream based carbonara pizza, something I had never seen before. It was delicious. They made two slight errors with our order, and nothing was too much trouble for them to correct. We saw them cleaning the kitchen through an open door, and a high power water hose was being used to clean every square inch of floor. Overall good value, good service great food.Highly recommended.
Very welcoming Jungle explorer themed predominantly pizza restaurant. Super friendly and happy staff. I had a surperbe gourmet burger and Pen had a rather excellent pizza. It was busy and full of life, there were plenty of staff, (this is not always the case in France) all only too pleased to serve (this too, is not always the case in France)So, all in all, good food and a good time with great staff!
