What P doesn't like about Saravanaa Bhavan Southall:
Service was quite slow. Waited 30 minutes for 4 masala dosas. The masala chai was also not too my liking, very strong overly brewed; tasted more like black tea but can’t taste the masala (cardamom, cloves, ginger). The dosas were average, have had better elsewhere, but prices were low so can’t really complain. Clean inside with lots of seating. View all feedback.

We had an amazing experience at this branch we loved the food and the servicing. The food is similar to other branches like at illford. Loved it and will definitely visit again.
Great place for taste. Chana batura is my favourite dish here. I have tried quite a lot of dishes, and must say, I love them all. Very affordable place. But not great for ambience or cleanliness. Very busy place, so if you are looking for a peaceful dining experience, this is not the place. I recommend this place to enjoy the authentic Indian breakfasts. Food is mouthwatering! Mango lassi is heavenly!
Great food, excellent service. Went there around 12 noon during a weekday. Got seated quickly. Menu has very good options, from North Indian, South Indian to Indo Chinese as well. Decently priced. Service was very good. Food was tasty. Served hot on time. Portions were also great. Ordered samosa and North Indian thali. Samosa was 2 pieces. North Indian thali had dal, Chana masala, paneer, aloo palak, option of poori/chapati (2 piece) , papad, rice, salad, raita, gulab jamun and another piece of samosa. The only downside was taste of Gulab jamun, which seemed stale.
Good experience! We had stomach full of our favorite Indian recipes. Mostly all items are priced above £4.50... especially sambhar vadai is ultimate
