The cod was good, and the pie was also good, but the portion of chips was disappointingly small. We usually get twice as much at other fish and chip shops. It was disappointing considering we paid £15. We will opt for Chinese food next time.

We ordered large chips but they were actually the size of small chips and we were only served 2 portions, which were undercooked. Despite the fact that there were 3 of us, the meal was expensive for such a small serving. However, the pancake rolls were quite delicious.

The fish at this restaurant is delicious and the portions are generous. However, the burgers are small and overcooked. The staff can be challenging to deal with - the female employees often have difficulty hearing and frequently make mistakes with orders. It's best to double-check your order before leaving because they may assure you it's correct when it's not. The restaurant tends to have long lines, likely because there are limited dining options in the area.

I visited Blackbirds for the first time on Thursday, January 18th and had a wonderful lunch experience. The food was hot and delicious, which is always important to me. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Flitwick Fishing has been serving the best fish and chips in Bedford for over 15 years. We moved to the area years ago and still make the drive back just for their delicious food. We have tried other fish and chip shops in Bedford, but nothing compares to the consistency and taste of Flitwick Fishing. They have been serving customers since 1985 and their quality has never wavered.
