The Grumpy Minnow Center City

What a fine establishment, pleasantly surprised. Small town feel while still classy and well kept. the bartender aria was out of this world. She gave great recommendations (both food and drink), personable and funny with guests and overall enhanced my experience at the Grumpy Minnow. Will definitely be back!

Customer service is top notch. Our waitress was excellent and on the ball. I had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and it was extraordinarily delicious definitely will be back again. The restaurant was extremely clean and not very loud so it's easy to have a conversation with your guests. This is the grumpy minnow and center City Minnesota. All I have to say is it was an excellent dining experience and I highly recommend coming to center City grumpy minnow.

Our dinner was excellent. The cheese curds walleye cakes were great. Brittany was our server, and sheet was excellent made our experience enjoyable. We'll be back! Thank you!

Yes, Covid has been really hard on private businesses! We entered the Grumpy Minnow was informed that they were short staffed but would help us as soon as they could. Honestly refreshing! Our server, Libby, was in the kitchen helping came out to take our orders. We had their Cup of Chicken Wild Rice Soup (I would recommend for it's smoothy goodness) and the Fish N Chips Special. Both were outstanding (especially for a small restaurant in a small town). The fish was incredibly crunchy and good. Really, we didn't have lots of impatient waiting here, but rather relaxing at a local place with our friends while we waited for our food to be cooked.

We absolutely love the Geumpy Minnow. Today we ordered to-go got a couple of burgers, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Walleye Cakes and as always they did not disappoint! Highly recommend! ?
