Awesome BBQ, the best brisket I have ever had. All the sides are homemade. Serious Texas BBQ.

Love me some Big Cat! Their brisket has ruined the rest of Austin for me. This place is a gem and well worth the trek if you're down south. Beef ribs are fantastic. Pulled pork on point. Burnt ends and pork belly on occasion. Well worth a social mediafollow and subscribe as they do special off menu stuff from time to time. Heck they even have Barqs on the soda tap and theyeven keep that fresh and tasty.

Here from out of state and wanted to try some BBQ. This place was a severe disappointment. Customer service was awful- everyone seemed preoccupied. Food was not good either. Brisket had good flavor, but was cold! Bread was stale. Green beans were just abuttery, gross mess. Coleslaw was completely bland. Mac and cheese was flavorless. Mashed potatoes were cold. Two starsinstead of one because the flavor of the brisket was good. Otherwise it would be 1 star. If you’re looking for good BBQ,this isn’t the place.

Big Cat BBQ Heard big cat was going to close soon so we thought would come try it out. I sampled their brisket, turkey, jalapeno cheese sausage, spicy creamed corn, potato salad and iced tea. The staff is great! Friendly and do a good job. Theturkey was very good, the brisket was so so and the sausage is very good. Was amazed they don't have chicken!! The spicy creamcorn was excellent and potato salad was good. However they're pretty expensive and why they chose to open up directly acrossthe street from a very popular BBQ place I will never know. I can't see making a special trip out here, but I wouldn't dissuadeanyone from coming here either.
