Just had lunch out here. Great V&V sausage cooked just right. The brisket was so tender you couldn’t hardly pick it up with your fork. Very pleasant family operated eating’ place. OCW gives a thumbs up for the to-go stuff I brought home. Oh, the Sweet Tea was heavenly. View all feedback.
What Janine Shafer doesn't like about Brewers Smokehouse Bbq Catering:
Want some garlic with your green beans, canned corn with your hot sauce, smoked rawhide instead of brisket with delicious sides?… then this is your place! Terrible except the baked beans! View all feedback.
Very nice people. Had the breakfast taco. Plentiful amount of egg, but the bacon and cheese were sparse. Eggs seemed to be cooked with the bacon which somewhat overwhelmed the egg flavor. The cheese is grilled first, folded, and placed next to the eggs. It only blends with the eggs and bacon inside your mouth. Overall, an average breakfast taco.

Great BBQ with easy access off 71!Brisket sandwich was my go to at Brewers.Skip the lines elsewhere and come here.Offers a mix match selection of snow cones ? for everyone on a hot day!Clean, plenty of parking and breakfast tacos.Don’t forget to try their voodoo corn!Really sweet pecan shop down off 71 to visit afterwards.
I was disappointed at how little brisket I got for $15 platter, but when I tasted it, I changed my mind. The brisket was chewy, not cooked/rendered well. The potato salad looked, well disgusting. The beans were VERY peppery and just ok and the bbq sauce was ok too. But the brisket, well, not good. Ended up throwing away the whole thing after a couple bites. There's plenty of good BBQ in and around Austin. They couldn't be proud selling this chewy brisket. Go elsewhere. I won't be back. Guy at the widow was nice, so giving 2 stars instead of only 1 which is what the food they served me deserved.
