The bread served was cold, and there was water pooling at the bottom of our salad. They were also unable to refill our soft drinks because they were out of some items, and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our main courses. Excellent food and very good service. our server really was interested in us. She was sweet and took time to talk to us. I had the penne alfredo and it was probably one of the best I had. it had and wasted. my wife had a steak and it was also very juicy and well cooked. the atmosphere was calm and romantic. I recommend the depotgrill.
We had the top sirloin and the new yorker strip steak, boiled exactly hot we asked, absolutely delicious! the garlic kartoffels are the best I ever had. the starter bread is served warm. I thought the chicken pot pee after reading their cheap reviews, but when I asked the server about it, she said that they no longer offer them due to their upgrades on the menu. I was happy with my steak. the atmosphere is quiet and private, the service is friendly, fast and attentive. paula served us, it was excellent!
Food was pretty good. I had the 3 cheese grilled cheese and it was alright. The bread had some interesting herbs on it that clashed with the cheese flavors, but overall it was ok. A generous helping of fries. Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they got. Service was fine. It was almost empty when we were there, though, so keep that in mind. Very nice interior. Closed Mondays during the winter, I believe. Interesting place, food was good but nothing extraordinary.
Back in the 1940s. The ambience of the deep rich wood and art decoration, combined with large band sounds and crooners, ensures a perfect combination of the accent gourmet eating.
