This was a birthday party and there were 5 of us. we have to sit next to the kitchen and watch the cook and the crew at work. it was so exciting and fun to watc... read more This was a birthday party and there were 5 of us. we have to sit next to the kitchen and watch the cook and the crew at work. it was so exciting and fun to watch. the food could not have been better, everything was perfectly cooked and tastefully tasted. this restaurant would be highly recommended for consistent, tasty and exciting eating. if they have the chance to try their home made ice - do that.

I will say we were a little disapp... read more We have been to Twisted Lemon a few times now. Once again we were not disappointed. From the chips to the desserts. Just wow. I will say we were a little disappointed when we were called back a second time and let down easy that the Chef's pass was previously booked By Chef Dan when we were told it was for us. None the less our table was very quiet and wonderful. We had the Buffalo cauliflower which was amazing. The flavor was incredible. I would have like the temperature of the cauliflower itself to be a little warmer. It was a tad on the cold side. My entrée of the pickerel dish came to the table. The presentation was beautiful. The flavors of the sauce and the wild rice with the beans were a great combo with the fish. The little puffs of I believe banana and Sweet potato were unusually good! My partner had the Beef tenderloin. She is a steak and potato girl, so would have enjoy a larger portion, but non the less enjoyed her meal thoroughly. We decided on dessert. And oh my! She order the chocolate buttertart with peanut butter ice cream. The flavors and presentation were incredible. I had the Banana bread cheesecake. It came out in the little crystal dish with lid which was so pretty. My first bite? was like my moms banana bread surrounded by the most delicious cheesecake I have ever tasted. Thank you once again for an amazing meal and experience!

She never bothered to give us her name, never refilled our glasses (although the owner, Laurie, did come by to check on us)…she just wasn’t very pleasant at all..also had a bit of an attitude. When she brought us our teas for dessert, she brought the wrong one and when we told her we didn’t order green tea, she said “Well, I heard green tea” and then “Now I have to go downstairs to boil the kettle again” ? We were stunned! So we just said it’s ok we’ll drink the green tea (even though we didn’t want it) And to top it all off, we were CHARGED for the green tea, which was her mistake! It’s a shame really, because the food, itself, was delicious. Don’t think we’d ever return, just based on the service…..

After t... read more It's an exquisite place with a nice staff but overpriced food. I ordered a pineapple passionfruit drink without alcohol which was refreshing but pricey. After that, we ordered a tomato tart which was so tiny, good in taste but extravagantly priced probably for the fresh tomatoes they picked from their garden. However, the most disappointing thing was that they didn't have much to offer for vegetarians so we didn't have a great time eating food.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options.

The best restaurant. Love it.

We had the bruschetta (the mushroom one was amazing as was the traditional! . I had the gnocchi which was so delicious, the best I’ve ever had, my husband had the pappardelle, which was also delicious. The dessert was to die for(creme brule and my daughter had the chocolate pate . The chef and staff were awesome. The chef came to our table to ask how our meal was and even stopped for a moment to speak to our daughter at the end when we were leaving. This place is a must to go to if you are ever out that way. We live in Niagara On The Lake and even though it’s a bit out of our way we will definitely be going back very soon! I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Both meals were just delish,The steak was served with garlic mash and fresh seasonal vegetables. The primavera was finished with an excellent olive oil and at my request extra cheese. We had an appetizer of panko crumb coated and deep fried avocado and portabella mushrooms served with fresh Ontario peas and a delicious dip. The service was excellent as were the martinis. The wine is a little pricey by the glass and it would be nice if they would add a house wine to the list at a more reasonable price

Kudos to the chef for creating the most powerful feast of flavours...truly satisfying. The service was also, without a doubt, top of the charts resulting in an amazing evening. Well worth the drive !!

It was so exciting and fun to watch. The food couldn’t have been better, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delightful. Would highly recommend this restaurant for consistent, delicious and exciting food. If you have a chance to try their home made ice cream- do so.
