I've loved the cookies and the heavy ones for years. I take this place alone, with a group, with my children and even large on the terrace for the dogs. the garden terrace is green shaded and beautiful. many rooms and tables in the interior. a favorite in CAVE CREEK View all feedback.
What l s doesn't like about The Grotto Cafe:
Might be a good idea to walk around with the ice tea pitcher to fill tea. Our server took my and a strangers (was out on a women's lunch) glasses away. I could not know for sure i got my glass/straw back. The woman next to me had a cough so could not even drink my refill. View all feedback.
Some cafes have great food and some others have great atmosphere. This place has both. We mostly stop by at lunch for our favorite salad or panini sandwich. Also tried their excellent breakfast menu and espresso coffee. Outside seating area wasalways popular but now it is greatly expanded and became even more popular. Inside seating area can be a little noisy due tofriendly chatter but you may also enjoy 70's rock music at the background.

Great place and great food! Love the whole place inside and out such a cute cafe, and if you love tea this is the place to go! Amazing!
One of Cave Creek’s best breakfast locations. Their ice coffee is to die for. Don’t miss this one.
Delicious food. I ate the carnitas tacos with apple slaw and it was cooked to perfection. Great customer service. Conveniently located next to a consignment store. I highly recommend this cafe!
