This old mission houses a beautiful Mexican restaurant located in the cute desert town of Cave Creek Arizona, located just about 45 miles from the Phoenix area. The interior is just gorgeous with a beautiful pond located in the center of the dining area. The dining area is open to the outside, so birds fly freely, palm trees and lush tropical plants surround the pond with ducks, koi fish, and waterfalls. The food...authentically Mexican with traditional dishes that are all very tasty! They give you 3 different salsas with one mild, one very hot and one verde which seemed to have cactus in it...so tasty! The tamales are house made with sweet corn masa filled with lots of meat. Not dry like some other places, very tender and tasty. The taco shells are fried and filled with good amounts of meat and toppings. The service...impeccable!! They are VERY well staffed and super on the ball, getting you everything you need! This is a must visit restaurant if you are in the area! Worth the trip!!

Incredible food, fun atmosphere and terrific service. This was our best meal while visiting Cave Creek.
