Brugos Italian Bistro - CAVE CREEK

Visited brugos several dozen times since they moved to this place. this visit was quite different and will not return. the menu prices have become ridiculous. eating was just fair. I ordered a pasta court with rigatoni only 20 minutes later to say that the kitchen was from rigatoni. on Saturday evening there was an incident in which the owner had a differentiation with a gas and caused a very unpleasant scene. I will not return.

I love this place! our server was so sweet! corinna took care of us and some other tables with a smile. this young lady has a lot of energy. the wine was delicious. the food was so fresh. perfect, tasty night with my family. the other server was also friendly. really a family eating experience.

What a great local find! We live in neighboring Carefree, and this is the best pizza we’ve had in the area since moving here 18 months ago. We had the Chrissy’s Favorite pizza, served by Chrissy herself! Very family-like atmosphere. The meatballs and sauce appetizer is AMAZING. Brugo’s will be a regular dinner spot in our rotation from now on.

No fault of the restaurant but the smell of sewage as you step out of your car also carries into the restaurant. Pizza was inedible- thick, dense, pale on the underside even after asking for it well done. Chicken parm was special of the evening and was tasty but nothing that would “wow” you. Service however was excellent although the kitchen is extremely slow. Not going to be a repeat customer which is sad because we like supporting local businesses.

Great experience as it usually is. Pizza was spot on and the wine selection was to our liking. Our favorite pizza joint.
