Essex Grill - Castle Point

The staff at this restaurant were very warm and welcoming, providing excellent service. The food was delicious, especially the pizza. We will definitely be returning to dine at this establishment.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. I was told that my food would be delivered at 6:00, but by 6:15 it still hadn't arrived. When I called the restaurant, I was informed that the driver was on the way and would be there in another 10 minutes. However, the food didn't arrive until 6:40, and it was cold. Additionally, there was no salad in the burger as requested. When I called the restaurant to inform them of the issue, I was promised a replacement that never arrived. After calling again to inquire about the delay, I was given conflicting information about the driver's whereabouts. When I requested a refund, I have yet to receive it. Overall, the service was rude and I would not recommend ordering from this establishment.

Very surprised that the prices in low cost area such as canvey for low class fast food is this high for such small portions. This is doner meat not lamb fillet. Very out of touch with portion size and pricing. Total rip off
