The only restaurant I’ve come across in the Alpe di Siusi not to supply complimentary crisps with drinks other it would seem than to a select few. The contrast with the Chalet Alpina, only 50 yards away, who were both courteous and friendly couldn’t have been more stark. I’d recommend you try them instead.
My husband and I ate there pasta and gnocchi on 12 Feb,2023 afternoon. Though the taste of food was quite good few hours later terrible pelvic pain, nausea, vomiting, dhiarrea, fever started. We were completed sick for the next 2 days we were forced to stay in bed and take medications, were not able to ski and our holidays are complete destroyd as even today on the 3 th day we feel sick. Our friends who ate different meal together with us that Sunday afternoon stayed healthy, thus we suspect that insecure food that caused food intoxication was only pasta with mashrooms and gnocchi.
In our opinion it was the best choice after day of cross country skiing on trails of Alpe di Siusi. The soup is hot, speck knoedel are large, very tasty and filling. The other soup – broth with small pasta and pieces of meat – was nothing special. The terrace is also a perfect place to sit in the sun, order bombardino and enjoy the views of Dolomites. As the restaurant is located right at the upper station of cable car, it’s usually very crowded in winter thus be prepared for some waiting time for your order to be ready.
Even though they offer gluten free food its contaminated! The risk, as you know, is not worth taking. To the restaurant owner I would only recommend to take seriously your job because you are jeopardizing on people’s health. Shame on you. If I had the time I would complain in a proper way. At least people are aware.
A nice spaced out restaurant to relax after a long trek wonderful options of drinks, food desserts. Good service, good quality of food and beverages. It’s right at the path ~250 m from the Panaroma cable car stop

The Inn is happy to provide baby high chairs for babies and toddlers, also, depending on the weather, it is also nice to sit outside and dine. There is a counter with bar stools available for taking a seat, inviting you to linger, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables.
