The food was really good. I should agree with others about the service. Our waitress was really gruff and to the point. No smiles or little conversations here. It would be a frustrating place to eat when busy, but we have been happy and caught them at a good time. The western Omelet was good and I am on vacation, so I left all the smiles. View all feedback.
What Gayle Okuneva doesn't like about Bruno's Mountain Bistro:
The absolute WORST service of all times! It is my birthday, they sat 3 tables after us, took their orders and still NO service. We asked for service and the waitress said she was right back and she went away and cleaned tables. She never returned! My husband who was withdrawn from the industry was most patient, but finally asked for service got a bad attitude and we left. Thank you. Zookeeper to start my birthday wit... View all feedback.
The food was amazing. I ate a pretty big breakfast, but the food was so good I couldn't stop eating. I couldn't help myself, and I couldn't help my wife's food. It wasn't the first time I was here and not the last time. Great food and excellent service.
The little Zookeeper is tucked away in a small strip center. The food was great, but the server had poor customer service. They have an outdoor seating area and ample parking. Give it a try and I hope the service will be better for you. Try their omelets!
We waited a good 20 plus minutes to get a seat here on Sunday morning before heading home. I am so glad we did!!! It was amazing. Crab cakes were delicious! Eggs were done perfect! It is a bit pricey in comparison to other places we have been but you really pay for what you get.
Best buttermilk pancakes....ever. don't understand how they do it, and why no one else does. Light and fluffy and flavorful. Breakfast bowl was savory and delicious I think they add sausage gravy). Highly recommend. lastly, I liked their mimosa, not too much orange juice.
The food here is actually quite delicious. I was nervous due to some of the reviews being so different. I had traditional. Breakfast with eggs, bacon, sourdough and hash browns. Everything had a wonderful taste. None of it was typical crappy quality diner food (which is what I thought it would be). It was all quality ingredients. The hash browns are different. Thick cut. Never had them like that before but they were perfectly cooked and 10 times better than the breakfast potatoes so I recommend getting the hash browns. There definitely was some rudeness. No one working there seemed to be happy at all. I think I saw one smile the whole time we were there. So, don't go expecting any local mountain chitchat. Just go for the food and be happy with it.
