What David Burns doesn't like about Caribbean Food Of Cartersville:
Would like to give more then a star but trying to actually eat here has been difficult at best. Went by last week at 12:30 Doors were locked. Someone came to the door and said they were moving furniture. Not sure why that would be done during a work day at lunch hour. Went back again, same thing closed. Have tried to call this week, no one answers and get a generic voicemail that doesn't even mention the name of the... View all feedback.

Have tried to call this week, no one answers and get a generic voicemail that doesn't even mention the name of the restaurant. To the owners. Get more organized! Too many choices in the area to deal with this kind of frustration.
Happen to be passing by when we saw this spot. So glad we stopped! The crew was amazing and the food was so delicious. Will be coming back for more.
Truthfully, I am from NY so we have Dominican and Puerto Rican restaurants in every corner. It may taste great the casual American who doesn’t know how to differentiate Mexican food versus Dominican food but if you know the tastes then you know the tastes , the rice was hard and it was rice with corn , in these countries you usually have Arroz con gandules, arroz Moro, or congri not rice with corn. The mofongo is never made with a chicken breast the mofongo is made with your protein blended into the mofongo and typically made with chicharron which is the most common. The food was ok , it’s not bad but it’s missing the true Dominican and Puerto Rican Latin flavors, and also there is zero reason to have tacos on your menu, stop catering to the public by making them feel comfortable to the point where every non Mexican restaurant feels the need to serve tacos because that’s the only Spanish food that cartersville residents seem to know of. Your tostones were very delicious and your pineapple juice was very good. If anyone reading this wants to see a typical Dominican restaurant and what their food looks like for reference to my post, go to Instagram and search for “ajoyoregano” now those are the flavors and plates I was hoping to see here.
Amazing food, the kind of food that goes straight to your heart. Also amazing staff and great experience!
