Ming's - Carson City

Eating was great, people who prepared to eat were great, people who clearly hate their jobs (but they did their job, so at least there is). Don't get rid of the last one in there.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had dinner on a whim and we are so glad that we came here! The food came quickly and the waitstaff was friendly.

From the reviews a person mentioned they have halal meat ask the staff. But they don't. So if your looking for halal meat this is not the restaurant for you. They don't even know what halal is. So don't waste your time asking.

Called in a reservation for 5, showed up 15 mins early and the restaurant was half occupied. Sat us right away and the waiter asked us if we wanted drinks and said yes, and he literally walked away in the middle of our order. We asked two waiters who was going to take our order and both waiters said they would get someone. We waited 45 mins to the min before asking again and watched two waiters shrug their shoulders and continued to talk to one another as if they had no other clientele.I will say this… we are not ones to easily upset but we could not get any service for over an hour and they didn’t even have half the tables served. More than staffed and they just chose to be lazy and continue to pass our table after continuing to ask who was serving us. We finally told one of the servers that we were going to leave if nobody served us and the just simply walked away.We finally packed our items up after more than an hour of sitting at our table and the continued to watch us leave without saying a word. I personally bring business to Carson and support our businesses through the chamber and so on so this isn’t an easy review to leave. We will not be supporting this restaurant or their lack of service. I am deeply disappointed as this was our restaurant we turned to for quality food. The service has simply made us non customers of this establishment.

Great food and great service.Extensive menu with traditional as well as innovative selections.I just wish that they didn't use styrofoam with their takeout, many other recyclable choices.
