Located in a lovely market yard setting with a sail-like canopy, this restaurant offers reasonable food prices but was let down by service mishaps. Despite a nice interior, cocktail quality was hit-or-miss. Despite some food inconsistencies, overall the food was tasty. Quirky but overpriced with unimpressive service, it was a place worth visiting again. While the owner seemed stressed, the food remained consistently good. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and great cocktails made for a fantastic experience at this spot in Carrick. With a nice pub ambiance and good beer selection, it's a place worth returning to. Overall, this spot received mixed reviews, with some praising the excellent service and food quality, while others found faults in service and food consistency.
Has a range of beers from Rye River Brewing Co., Kildare. For some reason, on the day that I visited the whole place was filled with male customers, like around 100 of them, with only one female. More female customers arrived when it was near 8pm. Interesting. Maybe a venue popular for stag parties and hen night. There's a pool table at the back. Good place to enjoy with friends.
