A guitarist strolled around the restaurant and stood by our table towards the end of the meal, playing and singing. While his performance was good, it felt out of place and resembled a mariachi player at a lively Mexican restaurant. What Trisha Bins doesn't like about Catch:
The crab cakes were good. The little red gem on the arugula salad added a pop of flavor. But the pan seared halibut was bland. The servers and the receptionist weee very attentive. So if you are looking for good customer service go to this restaurant but food is mediocre for the price. View all feedback.
My meal was comped by the manager, who was very nice. I wish I had studied the menu more closely before going. It wasn’t the high end restaurant that I was looking for.
Unfortunately, service was slow and scattered. The bottle of white wine we purchased was almost warm. The calamari was tough and weird, the caesar salad was bland. But the risotto was quite nice.
Amazing food, professional friendly service, great menu, manager exceedingly nice. Great outdoor dining on Ocean Avenue.
Nicely remodeled to reflect updated menu. Service was excellent. Comfortable seating inside and the noise level was okay except when the the roving musician was playing. Variety of menu options. Crab Louie salad was very good and the portion was large. Salmon was overdone. Clam chowder was a bit too starchy and needed salt.
Terrible waiter service, nowhere to be found. The clam chowder was a disgrace, tasteless and no clams. Never again.
