With a limited vegetarian menu, the focus is on non-vegetarian dishes like Lahori murgh and mutton kadhai. The food bursts with flavor and is best enjoyed with soft naan. Customer service is top-notch despite minor restaurant ambiance concerns. This hidden gem is a must-visit for lovers of rich and delicious curry in Melbourne, featuring unique dishes like Lahori chicken and Shahi paneer. Ziyka is highly recommended for its exceptional food, affordable prices, and incredible taste, making it a go-to spot for Pakistani and Indian cuisine enthusiasts in town.
Insta: melbfoodie_mark<br/ YT: MelbFoodieMark<br/ <br/ My go to Paki Indian restaurant for rich and delicious curry. Tried pretty much every curry there Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Shy Paneer etc. They were all so good to the point where I wanted to lick the plates off every time. Highly recommend!
I recently visited Ziyka and tried their Pakistani cuisine for the first time since living in Abu Dhabi years ago. The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish we sampled bursting with flavor. My personal favorite was the Lahori murgh, while my wife couldn't get enough of the mutton kadhai. We also enjoyed the vegetarian options, such as the shahi paneer, samosas, and daal. This is a perfect spot to visit with a group to try a variety of dishes. The tea was just as impressive as the kullhad waali chai, especially when paired with samosas. The gulab jamuns were the perfect ending to a delicious meal. Ziyka truly deserves recognition for serving the best Pakistani cuisine in town. A big shoutout to the team at Ziyka for their excellent work!
I have been there many times and more often than not I've been happy with the food I've got here. One of my favorite dishes here is the Lahori chicken which is served in a pan in which it is cooked. It has a really nice flavor, and the chicken is always cooked brilliantly. The mix of spices is really unique and tastes really good. This week I tried Shahi Paneer and I was blown away by the flavor. It was an amazing flavor.<br/ <br/ Some improvements can be made in the restaurant regarding cleanliness, ambiance and the look of the restaurant, but if I only look at the food then it is exceptional.<br/ <br/ I haven't had flavor-rich food like that in many places in Melbourne. This is one of the places that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for Indian or Pakistani food in Melbourne.
Just a heads up, if you're looking for a good Hyderabadi or Lucknowi style dum biryani, I wouldn't recommend ordering it here.
Best food i have tasted in melbourne. Especially lahore karahi was very tasty. I recommend this place
