We sat and had coffee with cake. The almond cake was rock hard! Waited for ages for staff to ask why I had not eaten it! So before we left I caught one of the staff and informed them that it was really hard, stale and awful. He said really.... And took the plate. We never saw or heard from them. So left! This is a fantastic cafe for lunch. I always feel very welcome here. It is a lovely family-owned business. Be sure to try their delicious hot chocolate!
We sat down and ordered coffee and cake. The almond cake we received was extremely hard and stale. We waited a long time for someone to come and ask why we hadn't eaten it. Before leaving, I managed to flag down a staff member and let them know about the disappointing cake. They took the plate without much reaction and we never heard or saw from them again. We were not impressed with the service and quality of the food.

We arrived at 3:30 and were informed that they had stopped serving food.
This was my second visit to Sun Moth, and it's definitely becoming one of my favourite places to go in MelbourneIt's justreally really good.
