Delicious authentic Thai food. Everything is so fresh and full of flavor. Best Larb I’ve had anywhere in San Diego. Also don’t miss the Southern Thai yellow curry specialty View all feedback.
What C doesn't like about Siam Queen By Cholada Thai (new Management):
Went the first time and thought the food was amazing and worth it for the price since we dined in. But second time we did takeout and price is way too expensive for the curry and noodle that you could be paying $12 anywhere else with a bigger portion size. Definitely not coming back. Mango sticky rice is $10?! Not even my aunt’s restaurant sells them for that much. View all feedback.
Let's me summarize this amazing place with a few key points. 1. Great for dine in experience; the inside of this place is elegant, clean, and has good fung shui. It feels very nice sitting in there. 2. Reasonable prices; we got the works, two main entrees, appetizer, Thai teas, dessert and it was only $62. If you're looking for something simpler without dessert and appetizer, you're probably looking at around $40 bucks for two people. 3. Super delicious food; the coconut curry was scrumptous and creamy, the veggies an amazing blend of bamboo shoots with baby corn and other veggies. The eggplant basil melts in your mouth and the basil just adds a smooth herb-y flavor that sends you to a blissful realm. Veggie tempura, wow. That plum sauce was amazing. Everything we had was amazing....gosh. 4. Super vegetarian friendly; I can't tell you how hard it is to find good places that offer a variety of things to try when you're vegetarian. Thai places usually don't disappoint. But the waitress told us she could make pretty much anything vegetarian friendly. You know how much that means to me??? There's plenty of non-vegetarian foods also for those who eat meat of course. I used to do the shrimp curries and Thai restaurants...mmmm. 5. Super friendly service; our waitress whose name was Nok was so nice, sweet, friendly, and all around good vibes type of person. The type you want to be around to feel good and be happy (not like that one depressing friend of yours....ew). 6. A hidden gem; literally, its behind a Shell gas station and you wouldn't know its there without driving behind it. They have a huge parking lot so don't be afraid of driving on over for the dine in. 7. Come support a 71 year old cook. Nok shared that the cook has been working there for 21 years. Made me feel like my grama made the food for me. Such a home-y feeling. All in all, I'll be coming back here....again and again. I'll definitely be bringing my friends here. And you should too. A

Yummy Thai food with good customer service. Quantity and quality appreciated.
The food looked ok but all in all was poorly executed. It had little flavor, super oily I could really taste the oil in the food, and really bland. I was really rooting for this place to be a little bit more decent since it is located in a really nice transition spot but it is a no go for me from now on. And the salad is definitely a miss for me, that dressing was unpleasant and the lettuce was wilted even tho it appears to be firm.
Incredible value on this neiborhood Thai restaurant. True and authentic Thai cuisine at the right price, and the servings are very generous. I'd go to get a great family dinner. Servers were super friendly and the place was quiet and comfortable.
