Beautiful setting across the 101 from the ocean. Covered, heaters for cool nights, outdoor veranda dining. Indoor has a “pub-like” feel. Great food, affordable prices. On my favorites place list View all feedback.
What KathleenD doesn't like about Chandler's Oceanfront Dining:
Not what it used to be. Wait staff was excellent, but food took a very long time. The salmon was very good, but the burgers were dry. We had 2 people ordering burgers and both were very dry. The french fries were served very salty. With prices going up, it's hard to tolerate less than stellar food. View all feedback.
Had several meals here during our stay at Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach Hotel. Dinner was excellent! Great food service!

 Service was excited outstanding. This was one of the best meals we've had in years. 
Server was very attentive to my wife's medical restriction diet, checked with the chef to Make sure her entree was done exactly right and even brought hot water for her to use her special tea.
Get the cheese board! Excellent start to your meal! The seafood linguini was great and my husband ordered the filet mignon and said it was cooked perfectly! Beautiful setting!
