American Heroes Brew - Carlsbad

American Heroes was absolutely fantastic!! We went back two times on our long weekend trip. The passion really shows in the messaging around the restaurant. The Hoboken, Miami, and Carlsbad were SO good. The fries and onion rings were so hot andcrispy. PLUS alcohol. Must go!!!

I wanted to try somewhere new and made a great choice at this place. When I walked inside I thought it was more of a bar than a restaurant, but they did have some tables. The place was very clean inside. The bartender took our order and I asked for hissuggestion for sandwiches. Said the owner is from Philadelphia and they make a great Philly cheese steak sandwich and theirmeatball sandwiches are very good. So that's what we ordered. Both sandwiches were great. The Philly cheese steak was the bestI've had on the west coast and maybe on the east coast too. The ribeye meat was tender and flavorful and the bread was verygood. It is a True Philly cheese steak with cheese wiz. It was great. The meatball was one of the best meatball sandwiches I'vehad in a long time. The meatballs were soft and tender, melting in my mouth tender. Again, the bread was soft and very good.They put the marina on the side, like a dipping sauce, a very good sandwich. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich, which shesaid was very good, everything tasted good and fresh. My grandson ordered a kids menu cheese burger and that was better thanmost places burgers.. I highly recommend this place.

Awesome spot! We stopped during a family vacation and it was excellent. Very large sandwiches and crisp fries, my 1 yr old checked to make sure they were all gone when we said ?all done?. Will definitely put on my revisit worthy list.

I have spent YEARS looking for the perfect chicken sandwich!!! I finally found it!! The atmosphere was great. Service could have been a bit more prompt with water refills, but the strawberry margaritas were the best.

I enjoyed eating here! For a Friday night, it wasn?t very busy, which was actually nice. We got the Tombstone burger and the special, the Baltimore Pit Beef. Both super delicious sandwiches which I?d happily eat any day. Only down side is the price is abit high to not come with fries or any side. The staff was super friendly and pleasant!
