Green Chili - Carlow

Ohhhhhh it's good!!!! Perfect balance of spices. Their ratings, as to the heat of their dishes is accurate. Everything tasted Just that little bit EXTRA. Would highly recommend.

We dined at this restaurant on a Friday and took advantage of the 50% off promotion for all meals excluding seafood. The portion sizes were a bit small, possibly due to the discount. I ordered the lamb jalfrezi and it was one of the best I've ever had - the lamb was tender and not greasy. The rice portions were generous and the naan bread was also delicious. Overall, we ordered two main dishes, a starter, two beers, and a coke for just €28. The staff were very friendly and our service was quick, although we noticed that some other customers had to wait up to an hour. The phone was constantly ringing with delivery orders, but we were able to enjoy our meal and leave within an hour. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future!

The Madras was fantastic, with friendly staff and excellent value. It is a wonderful new addition to the town. Best of luck to Mash and his team!

Quiet little Asian Restaurant that most certainly worth a visit. The food is cooked fresh, loaded with spices and flavour. The dips accompanying the the popadoms were delicious especially the onion one. The salt and chilli chicken had a serious kick to it, not for the faint hearted. 2 starters, mains and cans of coke for €36 is great value too! Not much in the way of atmosphere but hard to comment on that when at this particular time we were the only people there and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Will be back again.

Good food, ready nice family friendly atmosphere. They will take the time to explain the menu options and offer suggestions if you want. Peshwari naan was excellent, have tried lamb options and very good quality
