My partner loves the chicken curry here, although it's a little too rich for my tastes. It's creamy, hot and fresh - a bit of a twist to your Katsu Curry Chicken at most Japanese Cafes these days. The serving size is huge and good value for the price, and the serving time is quite quick considering it's made fresh to order. Haven't tried too many of the other options, but their menu is quite extensive and they seem t... View all feedback.

For 13 dollars, choose a bowl of noodles, a can drink or water, and a dim sum. Its cheaper than most other stores , and it all does the job of filling up the stomach. Taste wise is average. View all feedback.
Remembering that this is fast Asian in a food court and not careful slow Asian that you find in a restaurant, it must be assessed for what it is and not what we think it should be. Between us we enjoyed some lovely gyzoyas, deed fried chicken, steamed pork buns and bbq pork with some excellent rice and chilli oil. We all, kids included, really enjoyed this food court meal. It was tasty, fresh, the service was great and it was excellent value. Two drinks and food for two adults and two little people, the bill came in under 35 dollars. Cannot complain with value like that. Just lovely.
My review is for the Yum Cha Noodle Haus near the Myers Centre off Queen Street Mall. My husband and I had a Laksa and a Duck and pickled cabbage soup. Both soups improved as we added more to them! There was a good selection of sauces and chilli garlic additives and we managed to concoct up a reasonably satisfying meal through experimentation! Unfortunately my duck was almost tasteless and the cooks were less than generous with some of the Laksa's ingredients try 1 prawn and a scallop that wasn't a scallop but a round piece of some crab stick like mixture that was made to look like a scallop. At the end of the day we were sort of satisfied but certainly won't be rushing back!
Had a quick lunch here before visiting my friend at Belmont Private Hospital. I ordered the roasted duck rice and I must say that I was horribly disappointed. Coming from an Asian country and having eaten roasted ducks more times than I could remember, the duck served here was not at all roasted. Nothing authentic about what I ordered, not even close and seriously, if the duck is not roasted, please don't claim it as such. That's plain false advertising. That aside, the steamed pork and shrimp dumplings as well as the deep fried crab claws were alright. The absolute low overall rating is mainly due to the so-called roasted duck rice.
We decided on an early dinner after work. The Noodle Haus: Yum Cha Cuisine is a bit less crowded than some of the others packed into the Carindale food court so we gave it a try.The place does have an upmarket presentation and excellent menu, and although the food is very good I don't think it quite matches the advertising. Most of the staff were friendly but the service was a little slow and one of the staff was a bit dismissive of our requests. However the overall experience was above average and we will certainly go again.
This review is for the Noodle Haus: Yum Cha Cuisine restaurant. Not the takeaway stall which is in another section of the food court. Being a big fan of yum cha I often find places 1 being too asian orientated where service and atmosphere remind you of local yum cha on the streets of shanghai 2 able to serve authentic food but too catered to Aussies (with asian staff having normal aussie accents, slightly more expensive prices and the restaurants filled with fellow cobbers and finally 3 those that actually seem to strike a good balance. Noodle Haus: Yum Cha Cuisine is one that fits the latter! The foods are reasonably priced and the taste terribly authentic. A lot of the items appear to be prepared in house or locally. A lot of places these days that sell yum cha items (or dim-sims are serving you generic frozen rubbish imported from overseas (check your local sushi shop dim sims . Yum Cha cuisine appears to get back to basics and prepare some of these items themselves (or at least they had me fooled! I ordered the usual common yum cha dishes, steamed dim sims, dumplings, few fried items and steamed buns. No complaints at all with any of the foods. Atmosphere was busy but staff very attentive and friendly. A lot of yum cha places that fit category 1 will constantly bug you even when it is quite obvious you've had all you can eat! Those in category 2 often have no carts coming around at all you just sit down and order. Yum Cha cuisine employ local and non local asians for waitstaff, lots of busy trolleys filled with delicious items and unfortunately even some asian practices such as leaving a tray full of dirty dishes in full view of patrons until it is filled and replaced with an empty tray. This is very common practice I noticed in asia. The waitstaff where attentive enough to know when to bug you and when not and were always very friendly. Recommended for those who want an authentic experience without the culture shock.
