A very good Italian restaurant in cardiff. very accommodating staff and tasty eating.

Was there to celebrate the birthday of my friend and they put a candle on his tiramisu and sang him birthday song. it's a little gesture, but they don't have to do it. in any case made his day, eating was also great!

An excellent restaurant with friendly staff, nice eating and a beautiful atmosphere. our visit to cardiff was for 4 nights, we loved it so much in our first night we went back to our last. keep the great work.

I had the mushroom risotto that was delicious, my friends had pizza pasta that they said was great. the personal was friendly. for a so busy place there are only 1 toilet in an uncomfortable position so that at a point 4 girls were queuing at the bottom of the stairs, where waiter bring eating through. it was very loud on the top floor as all the tables were full, felt as if they needed a window to spread the sound. that their actions are not accurate. we ordered gin mixer and couldn't taste the gin, so we all got an additional shot to stick in our drink and brought them to our table, no wonder we couldn't taste them because it was a little more than a stupid head full. think they need to address this especially at £3,50 or so for the gin.

Our first time at Elgano's and found good traditional Italian food, at a reasonable price with great service and a smile from the staff.....what more can you ask for.
