I had a very nice cake and hot chocolate mid morning then went back later for an equally tasty lunch a slice of roasted butternut squash in a home made bagel with “feta” and toasted hazelnuts. Everything was delicious and good value for money. It was such a treat to have options and an entirely vegan menu. The only slight drawback was that nothing was served quite hot enough for my taste. When I mentioned this to the owner afterwards, she thanked me for my feedback. If you’re a Brit with an asbestos mouth who likes your food searingly hot, it might be worth mentioning. I bought a cinnamon roll to take away and that was absolute heaven light, moist and fragrant with flavour. I’ll be going back as soon as possible.
Stumbled across this delightful vegan cafe/restaurant in the heart of the Carcassonne bastide. It has only been open for a couple of months after a move of location to Rue de Verdun, and has an extensive drinks menu including coffes, teas, smoothies and fruit juices. The food is freshly prepared using seasonal fruit and vegetables and is very tasty with soups and bagels and deserts. Attentive and helpful staff make for a great experience.
We didn't eat anything but you saw other delicious dishes on the plate.
