I had a few disappointments regarding the prices. The Happy Hour prices listed on your website are incorrect for this location. It seems that the website has not been updated for this site, which opened last July, so we ended up paying more for drinks than anticipated. We ordered two burgers and an order of fries, but when the bill came, we noticed extra charges for both regular fries and sweet potato fries. I don’t... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Woody's Surfside Island Rum Grill:
The service was chaotic; our server hardly stopped by our table. The drinks tasted watered down, and one friend's steak was overcooked when it first arrived. When he requested it again cooked medium, it returned raw, with a purple center. The fries were cold, too. I ordered a fried shrimp and sweet potato fries meal—since the menu indicated that I could request fried shrimp under the grilled shrimp option—but the ser... View all feedback.
I must update my previous review of this place, came before COVID, even one time after for just the live entertainment, ordered beer and food later had a good time. However my most recent visit was anything but welcoming; me and my friend walked in and were informed we must order food before any drinks could be ordered... This is some new policy that I know nothing about or simply judgment of who just walked in, plus our server was very rude to us, said we must leave if not ordering, well we weren't allowed to order what we wanted. I had eaten at work 30 minutes previous and just simply wanted to have a beer and order food later; I won't be back.
Visit Michigan and loved this Bar Grill! Ordered onion rings, southwest egg rolls and Californian baha pack. Delicious! They change property and it is called Torched. Very recommend this facility. Great prices and a very friendly staff.
Super friendly staff. Your sandwiches are huge. The sweet potato fries are really good. The huge pulp was also good. The stands are huge. You could fit 6 people comfortably, maybe 8 if they are all friends and are childish thin.
Woody's food, service and other employees were exceptional. Our waiter was so on our table of six made it for a nice evening.
Woody's is a nice, casual, laid back restaurant. We went at 12pm, so it was a little hot inside, I guess the A/C hasn't fully kicked on being that it opened at 11am. We wanted Nachos with black beans, sausage, cheese tomatoes, but they were no longer on the menu to our disappointment. We asked our server, Stephanie about them she asked the chef if they could make them. They did. We were so happy that Stephanie went above beyond instead of just telling us they were no longer available. We also order the Shrimp Tacos, blackened, which were delicious, and Mai Tais. The Mai Tais were reallly good. I had them at Hurricane Grill, and Woody's were so much better. I do reccomend them. I also ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich to go for my husband, and he was very impressed. I will definitely make Woody's a regular hangout.
