The food here was AMAZING! I had the rubber bean, red beans and rice and Jambalaya because I couldn't decide! They were all super good! I love spicy food, so there was no need to stand for me, but they will choose it for you again if necessary. The owner was really nice and made sure our experience was top notch. One of my Cape Coral favorites! View all feedback.
The owner Mike has made this small room a place of comfort and the feeling of eating with the family. I was initially skeptical to eat in a restaurant in a small shopping mall. You're not serious! I ate Cajun food in Louisiana. I thought it wasn't that good. I did it! The owner was educated and taught to cook Cajun food from his mother in his home kitchen in Louisiana and you can really taste it! This is BY FAR the absolute best Cajun food I've ever eaten. Our first visit there and we were happy to meet us and meet Mike while we had eaten his delicious food he had prepared. If you really have a chance to eat here, you won't really! I'm going to Cape Coral for 15 hours and before I go, I know where I'm going to eat when I'm here. I wish I could have it at any time, but I'm not living nearby. Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people!! You can't eat wrong here!
I go here once a week for the pop-pops-pork-macbalaya, they give you a huge meal and its favorite food in Florida. Every time I come to Mike, the owner is either greeted with friendly service at the counter or checked with every table to ensure that every customer is satisfied! I never knew how good Cajun food really was until I tried Cajun Bowl. I look forward to trying the red beans and rice next:
This place is constantly the bomb. The jambalaya is a must have gumbo is great. And the po-boys. The best. You can't fake this down home Louisiana cooking. Don't even get me started on the cleanliness of it. Fantastic great ambiance. Love it. Worth every penny
This place has some really delicious Cajun food! I had the Beck's Beef Jambalaya and loved it. My fist had the Crawfish Etouffe, which was also delicious. The food was very tasteful and well balanced. The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will definitely try again in the near future!
Made the trip all the way from Port Charlotte and boy was it worth it! Authentic cajun cuisine where the decor has just as much flavor as the food. The portions were large, but the taste was even bigger. Owner operator seasons the dishes to your taste from mild to oh my gawd, and he 's just as authentic as the cuisine adding a little more flare to your dining experience. I 'll be adding a trip to the Cape to my weekly dinner routine for sure.
