This is a beautiful, historic village with stunning views over Capdenac Gare and its section of the Lot Valley. We visited on Bastille Day and the place my friends had wanted to eat at was closed. Le Relais was happenstance for us and, frankly, I was expecting a tourist ripoff. How wrong. Excellent, freshly prepared dishes, with an emphasis on local specialities, served with charm. What User doesn't like about Le Relais de la Tour:
Restaurant bien situé mais mal tenu. Nourriture de mauvaise cantine pourtant dans une région où les bons produits sont faciles d'accès. Service peu agréable et peu professionnel. Nous avons eu l'impression de les déranger. Une terrasse en plein soleil sans parasols (sagement rangés dans la salle) View all feedback.
We have been visiting this little gem for 15 years. The very best value set menus ever. The setting is charming but modern with a high standard of service. The hotel external appearance is out of a magazine which charms whoever we take with us e.g. family, friends etc. Occationly we go off piste order from the main menu also fabulous value . The views charm are quite unique, this is a hidden treasure.
This Hotel restaurant is located in a very pittoresque plaza near a church with the most beautiful views. We went there for early dinner and watching the sun set was pure bliss. Everything we ate there was made out of fresh and local products and cooked to perfection. I picked from other plates as well and everyone agreed that their dishes were excellent. This is a great address with authentic cuisine and friendly service! Definitely a good pick!

We eat here regularly each summer and are never disappointed. Delicious food, charming staff and the most perfect location on a warm summer's evening. Incredibly good value, best omelettes in town. You will get a lovely friendly welcome in this family run restaurant, don't miss it if you are in the area.
Ate here as the guest of a very hospitable chief designer at a local company. The food was excellent, the wine superb and the staff attentive and helpful. The location is spectacular, only marred by a cold February night. In the correct circumstance this place will be breathtaking. So, French hospitality, Roman and middle ages architecture and a view to die for over the valley outside the town. Recommended.
