Not what we usually do, but we wanted to test it and did not regret it! More, the food, the service and the atmosphere was soooo good that we returned back next day! We skipped the teppanyaki and wanted just traditional sushi meal. We got more than expected: Sushi had that nice surprise of crunchiness, the sashimi, especially the tuna, was one of the best I had. And it all started with edamame, perfect saltiness, war... View all feedback.

The reception was really good and kind. The table service was average. Our chef was good in cooking (delicious was he prepared) but didn't provide us a good "show" (we watched our table and was just bad luck he didn't had the same abilities) but as i said the food was good. The sushi that came from the kitchen was average (we living in cancun and we can insure you can eat way better ones).Expensive by my point of view f... I really enjoyed my sushi order. Unfortunately, I was not able to experience in this restaurant by earlier closure than expected, but I estimated that they let me order last minute before closing. Your sushi menu is varied with many options that sound very tasty. I have tried many sushi places in recent years and can say that their sushi is definitely above average and some of the best I had. It is obvious that they have excellent sushi cuisine and use high quality materials. I loved eating sushi and cooling on my hotel bed. I can't speak for the other menu items, but overall I recommend you try if you stay in the area!
I added current pictures of the menu (as of April 2022), as prices are quite different from some other pictures we saw. The Tonkatsu rays were delicious, broth and flavor. Noodles were okay. The Chashu rolls were great! You had a kick I liked. The Okonomeyaki was also wonderful to definitely check if you like seafood.
Thank you so much Chef Albert and Chef Irving, we did enjoy every bite of your delicious food, even our little son ate his vegetables, which almost never happens. Also show of cooking process was so fabulous . And thank you for complimentary dessert, it was amazing.
My partner and I originally wanted to sit at the teppanyaki (think Benihana style) restaurant but it was full. We ended up sitting in the sushi part of the restaurant and it was excellent! The hostess let us know that we could also order from the teppanyaki menu which we ended up doing. First off, our server Rodrigo was extremely personable and friendly. Loved his recommendation for the raspberry mojito and the choose two teppanyaki menu (we ordered the ribeye and tuna). The Marriott sushi roll was also excellent and well-seasoned. The family sitting next to us order the ramen and didn't like it. Rodrigo was very professional in his approach with them to rectify the situation. I have to give him kudos for handling the situation with grace. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone staying at this resort!
