Tried so very much to return to the El but for the life of me could not find the restaurant. I have such great memories of the cozy, Awesome food, we spent almost 2 hrs trying to get there. First came back in 1989 with my mother and returned this year again. the garnel and steak were just as good as we remember. I would definitely recommend.
Was just in Cancun at the end of November/beginning of December. Went downtown to have dinner and came across this restaurant on one of the main side streets with many restaurants. It stands out because of its modern decor. We had the cerviche and seafood...soup as appetizers for our entries we had the seafood pasta and the octopus dish. All were tasty, good portions and and worth the value. All around excellent. Had I more time in Cancun, I would have gone back a second time. Thanks!
Was just in La Paz and thought the marisco restaurants there could not be rivaled. I was wrong. El Pescador does everything as well or better. They even serve the Baja almejas chocolatas (chocolate clams). If you have never tried these clams, you need to....They serve them raw in the shell. You squeeze a little lime juice on them and add some habanero sauce (if you like it spicy) and enjoy. They are the freshest/cleanest tasting seafood you will ever have. Besides the clams, they do a wonderful garlic octopus, outstanding shrimp and scallop aguachile and refreshing ceviche. Those are the items I tried, but I am sure everything they prepare is amazing Prices are very, very reasonable (including alcohol) and the restaurant is on a fun little side street off of Tulum that is great for people watching. Do yourself a favor the next time you are in Cancun and find your way to this incredible restaurant. You won't regret it.
My wife and I found this place and to our surprise it has some amazing recipies. We started with a fish soup, with compliments of the chef, warm enough to open the appetite. Then, we selected a sample platter with different traditional dishes, they were...all to die for. We finish with different style of fish and shrimp tacos. It was supposed to be a light dinner but we could not resist. All the services is attentive and prompt. We enjoyed dinner outside, but there is also the option to have dinner inside. We are coming again, now with the family!
