Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

This was the first time ordering from this location. Terrible experience. They couldn't have messed up my order more. I ordered 2 of The Box which is 2 pieces of chicken. I paid $4.50 extra for the upgrade to breast meat only for 3 of the pieces. That didn't happen. Received 2 pieces that were unrecognizable and the other 2 were thigh at best. I also ordered a 2L of Diet Coke, received Regular Coke. I'm diabetic and cannot drink the sugar stuff. Please be advised that this location at 1000 Gerrard should be avoided at all costs.

There is an off or foul smell coming from the chicken. Because of this I stopped going about 3 months ago. Today I decided to go back thinking maybe it would be better. I was wrong. Bought three pieces of chicken and a side. Came home and immediately smelled the chicken. Foul smell still there. I opened the chicken up with my fork and smelled again ..... still the off smell. I don't know what's going on. I don't know if it is old grease, old chicken or what. I wasn't going to say anything but I read another Google Review with the exact same issue .... bad taste bad smell. I love Popeye's Chicken. It is so disappointing that this bad smell is happening. Staff is rude. They told me to hurry up ordering while I was accompanying small kids and was ordering for the kids. Waiting for the food was longer like it took around 20 minutes. They packed my order while I ordered to eat-in. Upon my telling them, they put the food in the tray . One combo was missing the side. I told them about the missing item they fulfilled that without being sorry. The floor and washrooms were dirty... Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
