First time here, and the food was great. Service was friendly and quick for South Africa. The only downsides were for my wife, and that was her first two choices had run out. For me, the 'hot ' wasn 't particularly hot. Would still recommend it. View all feedback.
One of the Best bunny chows Ive eaten in Cape Town. Brimming with iconic DBN flavour. Served in a traditional half a loaf of fresh white bread, with a smile and good vibes. No surprise why they have lasted for so long. Quality and excellence.

Excellent food made with great pride and enthusiasm. One of the best curry restaurants I have visited in Cape Town. Authentic Indian food served with South Africa flair. I will recommend them anytime!!!!
Went there yesterday specifically to get the puri patha. Was glad I did, it was delicious. That being said, I did struggle between a 3/4 star rating here. While the patha was good, I found the puri a little too crisp. Also R52 for one (about 10cm in size) was a bit pricey. Then the prawn chilli bites were inedible. To be fair, I did go during loadshedding, but perhaps they should rather say they can’t make something. As per the pictures, it was R98 for this. It had 4 very small pieces of prawn stuck inside. The dough inside was completely raw, and bottom was burnt. Obviously not deep fried. Total loss of nearly R100 as we couldn’t eat it at all. Then also ordered the trio of rotis. Portion size good, and tasty (although rotis a bit soggy). Beans roti well worth the price. But why I went to 4, is that the staff there are great. They were friendly I enjoyed the chat while I waited.
Excellent vegetarian dishes! Their version of mater paneer is arguably the best I’ve had.
