Had a lovely mooch around Covent Garden early Sunday morning -stopped in this little cafe and were surprised at its size it’s like a tardis -raining outside so we ate inside but on a nice sunny day great for outside breakfast or lunch -we had eggs and scrambled eggs with tea and coffee and were really pleased with quality and service -really enjoyable and we will certainly return View all feedback.
I was extremely disappointed with the food at this restaurant. It was overpriced and not worth it. I ordered my favorite Caesar salad, but it was nothing like a Caesar salad - it didn't even come with Caesar dressing. The Aperol was also terrible, although it was cheap. The service was okay, but nothing special. I would not recommend this place; there are much nicer restaurants in Covent Garden.
A lovely restaurant in Covent Garden that offers good, delicious breakfast, lunch, and snacks at an affordable price. Absolutely recommended! Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat!
This restaurant is truly delightful. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The entire place was clean and charming. The food was beautifully presented and quickly served. The coffee was delicious. However, I didn't fully enjoy the vegan bowl because it was completely cold with no hot elements. Additionally, the staff occasionally left the doors open, making the downstairs area very cold.
Service was practically non existent and the staff were ignorant of the menu and rude. We asked for the sauce to be put on the side and for two eggs (instead of one) and were refused. They gave us a much worse table than the man behind us, who had no reservation but knew the manager. Extremely noisy and we ended up leaving and found a much better option somewhere else.
Five out of a troop of seven ordered daiquiris. They tasted of pureed strawberry, ice, and little else. We asked if they had mixed non-alcohol version. The waitress said she watched them mix it. We had just had a round of these on a Thames diner boat and they kicked like a mule. After our visit we went to All Bar One and some had the same cocktail again and it was powerful stuff. Sorry Le Pain Quotidien but your daiquiris just did not come up to scratch. We had a snack also which was okay.
