What 858jod1 doesn't like about Hansom Lounge:
We were very disappointed with the afternoon tea we had booked at this restaurant. The portion size was small, with only four tiny sandwiches, two of which had minimal fillings. The scones were delicious, but the cakes were not impressive. The Battenberg cake was dry and overly sweet, sticking to the plate. View all feedback.

Even if I had the day before the afternoon, this was actually celines first afternoon tea experience, so that I could not lose weight, that is what friends are finally. since it will be in the last weeks in Britain celine (sadtimes. I made her decide at the venue, and she chose the legendary st pancras renaissance hotel, which was in fact a quite large and beautiful location.
From any reason, the st pancras renaissance hotel was a afternoon, which I was not too futile to try, but it is just on the top of my recommendations for the best gluten-free afternoon tea in london gone the gluten-free sandwiches were nice, the brot was a little thick, but that was good, as there was a lot of filling. the gluten-free scenes were wonderful and there were plenty of jam and dipped cream, so no bad looks over the afternoon teacake stand. also the baked goods were wonderful; my partner on the afternoon teecriminality had gluten-free baked envy, which does not happen very often. we tried the cloudy bay afternoon tee, which is no longer available, but there are...more
Never a feeling so posh at a railway station! to be fair, this lounge is worth its call. both beautiful and tasty, the hansom proves to be a perfectly charming local for a coffee or tee over cake with a business colleague or friend. there's a little waiting for a table, but not too bad. the personal is fast and attentive. Decorally remember the high arched they cover that their in st pancras but the amazing manicured flowers and lux layout give him something special. cakes were also amazing. although there is a minimum 12, haha ok), they want to eat and drink.
Elegant airy space in the old taxi ranks of St Pancras Station. There was a harpist playing. The finger food was really good. I had salt and pepper squid, which tasted light and had a very thin tempura like batter. Served with a pleasant alioli. My companion's ox cheek croquette were lovely. I've had lots of croquettes in Holland but never one as meaty as this. Nice mustardy mayonnaise and some watercress accompanied them. Large portions, but granted, the bar food was all priced at around seven quid per portion We were a bit let down by inattentive service. Staff chosen on the basis of looks, I think.
