Well, taking the scenic route from Oakville through Cambridge was definitely not advisable given the construction and road closures though eventually we found a way there and it was certainly worth the visit. First of all, the establishment is not wheelchair accessible. Not sure how they were able to get away with not having a ramp and/or enough space between tables for a wheelchair to navigate through given all the human rights accessibility standards Ontario has established. I have been to The Easy Pour Wine Bar few times and absolutely love the menu/atmosphere. During a business lunch meeting with a client, our meal was served to the wrong table. It took the staff quite sometime to figure it out, extending our stay much beyond what we would have liked as we had to wait for our dishes to be made again once they figure out the error. Recently, I was a little offput when trying to make reservations. As their website suggests (strongly recommends), I was trying to make reservations as I wanted to make sure that my group would be able to get seating (11 people). I called multiple times without getting a person and left multiple messages without receiving a call back (even to say there was no space). Very disappointing as many of the people in the group have never been and were using this outting to try the place out.

Crazy that there's a time limit with how long you can stay. The food took a long time to arrive and hardly had enough time to eat before we were asked to pay our bill because the next reservation was waiting for our table. If you ask me, the stopwatch should start right after we get our food.
Recently went to the Easy Pour for dinner with some friends. We had a great night! The restaurant is quite small and quaint. It has a bar and a few tables on the main floor and another dining area upstairs that overlooks the tables downstairs. The menu is limited but still had good choice. We ordered a variety of items and everyone loved everything. We also had some good wine as recommended by the Sommelier. The atmosphere was great, service quite good and food was very tasty. I would certainly return.
We have driven by this unique restaurant many times, always talked about going. My husband called on a Tuesday, made a reservation for that evening, and we were thoroughly pleased with the whole experience. Our server Maddy gave us excellent advice re the wine lists, menu choices, and details about the building and its renovation. Flat bread made a great appetizer, my salmon was perfectly done, and my husband's pasta dish was delicious. Desserts were also up to the standard. Being able to order wines in 3, 6 or 9 oz servings made for a nice varied selection before and during the meal. The live music during dinner was a pleasant experience. We've never been in a restaurant with a live saxophonist before, but we loved it. We'll definitely return with friends.
