The Cambridge Brew House

Very friendly staff and would highly recommend it for the beer drinker. The food looked lovely as well although we didn't stop long enough to try it out but, will do so on our next visit.

Had a nice meal out here, staff were very patient, friendly and helpful (we were a big group). I would say the portion sizes need a little rethinking. Most were fine but my normally healthy appetited friend ordered fish and chips and struggled to get even close to finishing it!

Large and fairly comfy brew pub grill in the centre of Cambridge. The independent brewery offers a fair selection of its ales on tap, but my choice Misty River pale ale) wasn 't quite so good. I didn 't have time for picking another one, alas. But it 's a good-looking brewpub that will appeal to families, as there 's also an attractive and moderately priced menu.

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this pub to watch the England-Spain football game at 11 am. Upon ordering coffees at the bar, I encountered a barman who displayed shocking rudeness. His racist comment probably because of my south accent, ‘of course a coffee,’ delivered with an ironic tone, was completely unacceptable. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere that marred what should have been an enjoyable time. I was prepared to escalate the matter with the manager, but the overcrowded environment made it difficult. Had I not been accompanied by friends, I would have promptly left. It’s disheartening to encounter such behavior in a place that should prioritize customer respect and satisfaction.
