I used to come to this cafe 20 years ago as a student and it still remains maybe my favourite place in Cambridge for a cuppa and a sandwich. And despite it being small and busy they could not be lovelier. Took my kids too and they said it was their favourite place we went to, just cos it was simple, tasty and cosy. View all feedback.
What Andrew R doesn't like about Indigo Coffee House:
Wonderful location but the owner was extremely rude on our recent visit. We witnessed her telling other paying customers to move laptops off the tables or leave the cafe so larger groups could be seated. Also added additional options to our lunch and included additional charge to our bill without asking. Heavy-handed, petty signage on the walls threatening to fine customers who bring their own food to accompany their... View all feedback.
We came into the shop and 1 of us bought a coffee. We needed Water as we all had sunstroke. Front of house server was incredibly condescending, rude and passive aggressive. Gave 2 small plastic cups of half filled water then refused the person, who had bought a coffee, water. Wouldn’t let us sit and drink although no one was there even after we were lovely. Poured the coffee from a glass into a plastic cup out of spite to force us to take away and put water into the cloudy used glass for one of us to drink out of. So unprofessional. Was just an incredibly awful experience even after a purchase and acted as if it was the most prestigious shop in cambridge. The coffee was poor and half filled at best. We were also heckled out of the door after we were nothing but nice. Do not recommend and Very well agreed to all 1 star reviews.
Lovely place in a quiet alley to rest and have a bite when strolling around the city. Panini and soup were delicious! Very friendly staff. Strongly recommended!
Really cosy and cute, in a nice little location, friendly service. The carrot cake was delicious, great coffee, will definitely return next time.
A hidden gem in central Cambridge. The coffeeshop is next to a very old library, a church and when the weather is fine, you can sit outside and enjoy the quietness and a delicious piece of cake. I strongly recommend it.
This truly is a beautiful gem of a place in every way and highly recommended! It's a lovely relaxing sanctuary. The chai is amazing, as is the gorgeous coffee. The owner and staff are always smiling and there's a great selection of teas, panini and cakes. Always a lovely treat! Thank you! :
