The Mariner North Resort

Stopped in at the brewery in town and the recommended this place to grab a late lunch. Service was a little slow at first, no one really greeted us or came to our table but when our server did come to our table she worked quickly and apologized. She got all 3 kids menus and coloring books, got our drinks and took the kids orders ahead of time so their food would come out first. Steak salads, didn't have steak cause it wasn't dinner time. We really wanted the 16oz ribeye. Server was awesome, pay At the door Wifi didn't work. It's almost like they are only sort of trying. Prices were very reasonably except the rib eye that I couldn't get was 28 bucks, I was still willing to pay it but they don't make it until dinner, not sure why. Kids food all seemed good. The steak salad came with sirloin which isn't my first choice I much prefer a filet but for a sirloin it was pretty good. Kind of annoyed that I didn't get a steak and got slices and pieces of steak that were partially cook and then reheated? It was weird but it tasted decent, not amazing. I'm not sure I could recommend this place unless you were just needing food, I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Nice place to eat in town with limited choices. It is a bar and restaurant. Service was good. Liked it enough to go back the second time. All of the food was well prepared. Good flavor all the way around. I had steak and pork chops. I know in a white fish town... I would not say it was the best meal I have ever had, but for the price and location it was good. There are a couple of pricer places to try, but fish reviews are even better. Fun place. The last night we were there the woman's mountain biking group came in to dine.
