We had reservations at the KOA next door, so we decided to stop in for an early dinner. We both opted for the bison burger with onion rings, and they were quite delicious. The onion rings were crispy and perfectly golden brown. The burgers were nice, although the flavor of bison is a bit different from that of beef. It’s not bad, just unique. We would definitely order them again. As for parking, there’s plenty of spa... View all feedback.
What david munoz doesn't like about Cherokee:
I've visited this restaurant multiple times for breakfast, and it's always been delicious. However, I tried dinner for the first time and ordered a medium-rare sirloin. Unfortunately, it arrived well done and cold on both sides. I sent it back and requested it rare, but when it came back, it was medium-well. What a disappointment! View all feedback.
For the side of a highway restaurant this place is great. You better be ready to eat as nice portions that are very good. I've had chicken tenders here, Steak fingers and hamburger. All top notch. Clean store and bathroom. Highly recommend.
Stayed at the KOA next to the Cherokee restaurant and worker there highly recommended it. Definitely worth the visit. Everything from the service to the food was awesome. Waitress was very attentive. Probably the largest onion rings I've ever seen.
The best steak I've had in a very long time!! I WILL BE BACK!!
What a waste of money… fries where cold chicken tender where like rubber bands, the waitress doesn’t know how to explain the menu… will never come back again
I will never go back to the Cherokee Restaurant. I ordered a basket of fries over the phone, and the young lady who answered asked if I wanted the one side or two... I said the larger one of the basket of fries. I get there, and I see the charge is $10.82 much higher than before. When she brings it out, I ask if it is only a basket of fries . She says no, it is cheese fries, says she will take care of it. She brings out the fries, and I ask what I was charged for she said the cheese fries. She was not going to correct the charge at all. She then proceeds to dispute and asks me if I would like her to get the manager. I say yes. She and the same girl who were there at the counter step to the back. I do not see the manager at all. Both girls come back out and void the $10.82 charge and charged me the correct $3.46. Both then just stare at me, and I have to ask if that is it (if I need to sign anything else). The other girl just says, Yeah... Horrible customer service. It all could have been prevented had the first lady (the one who argued) repeated the order and total over the phone, which I would have caught the difference and asked at the time. Totally rude and unprofessional behavior.
