Elkilo - Callejón de los Chivos

Here it is. We took our wine. We ask the hostess first for the cork fee, she didn't know. Then the waiter and he answers other things about the fee. Then the bartender he didn't know. Food was a good quality and cooked to a high standard. The decor was hip and modern comparable to any restaurant in the world. We had the fish of Day Cerviche in Lemon and Coriander. Oddly. Then we had the seafood plate, which is enough for two people. Up with a beautiful bottle of Chardonnay from Chile. That was by far the best restaurant we visited in Cartagena.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant twice while we were in Cartagena. The fish was fabulous and inexpensive. Everything was cooked to perfection. The fish was just caught before it was prepared. I will return to Elkilo.

Nicely presented fish dishes in small restaurant. Not particularly cheap but good quality. Service slow but not untypical of Cartagena. Seafood mixed grill is fabulous and all dishes appear very fresh . Pleasant and helpful staff.

Great custom cocktails. The food was outstanding. The staff was engaging and offered us experimental dishes. Great way to start the night!
